- Finance Manager
Nqobile Mbhele graduated from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal where she obtained her B Com degree. She gained experience in the public sector prior to completing her SAICA articles in August 2008. Nqobile joined Pricewaterhouse Coopers in September 2008 in their Forensic Audit department.
After gaining valuable experience in auditing, Nqobile moved to mining houses to pursue a career in corporate finance. She obtained experience in cost management, budgets, cash management and local and cross-border financial reporting.
In 2015 Nqobile worked as a business partner on a company turn-around strategy where she was responsible for delivering a financial strategy, analysing data, advising on budget variations and imparting facts to all departments. She was also involved in the development, implementation and improvement of the operational process.
Nqobile joined the ISLA team as a finance manager in January 2017. Her role will include; developing and implementing sound financial management systems, fine-tuning the budgeting process, maximising cash flow and heightening ISLA’s accountability and stewardship with donor funds.
Nqobile’s passion is teaching.
