Cathrine Ramaoka
Litigation Coordinator
Cathrine Ramaoka is the Litigation Coordinator at ISLA. She previously worked as the Alumni and Promotional Officer for Nuffic’s Netherland Education Support Office, where she managed the Study in South Africa and Alumni portfolio. She has also worked for Sonke Gender Justice as Project Coordinator, where she supported and coordinated a control research study for a programme empowering adolescent youth on health, social, educational, and economic assets. She was responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the impact of the project. She also worked as a Caseworker for the United States Refugee Admission Program at Church World Services assisting in various administrative projects such as research; case planning and program planning and management.
She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Political Studies from the University of Pretoria. Her post-graduate qualifications include an Honours Degree in International Politics from the University of South Africa and a Masters degree in Globalisation and Development Studies from Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
