Liz is currently the HR and Operations Manager at Democracy Works Foundation, an organisation that analyses the health of democracy and implements innovative interventions and technologies. Before that, she worked at ActionAid South Africa (AASA], at Australia Awards for Africa (AAA] program, and spent nine years working at the Department for International Development (DFID-SA). Liz has 17 years’ experience in international development organisations and NGO’s, and more than a decade with many aspects of the HR portfolio, ranging from recruitment and selection, employee wellness, change management and strategic thinking/planning.

Among Liz’s management qualities is her deep commitment to working in a collaborative, transparent and inclusive manner, which allows her to build lasting relationships with staff, colleagues and like-organisations.
