Matikomborera Nyamadzi is a human rights lawyer, finalising her LLM in Multidisciplinary Human Rights at the University of Pretoria. She also holds a BA Law Degree and LLB both obtained from the University of Pretoria.
Mati is etching a career path in diverse human rights advocacy for African development. Her strong feminist convictions have influenced her belief that meaningful African development must equate gender inclusivity and decision-making parity between the sexes.
She is a past intern at the O’Neill Institute for Global Health law at Georgetown University. She has also worked with the Centre for Human Rights in both the communications and advocacy department as well as the Moots Department.
She enjoys reading and finding a good bargain for everything and anything.
