Vhugala Ngwenya is a Project Compliance Coordinator with over 8 years’ experience in research, programme management, and cross-sector coordination within the NGO sector and South African government environment. She holds a Master’s degree in Social and Psychological Research from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from North-West University.

She has contributed to the design, implementation, and oversight of youth development, child protection, and public health programmes, with responsibilities spanning from monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder coordination, data integrity, and reporting. Her professional experience includes roles at Shout It Now, Childline South Africa, and In-On-Africa, where she supported both research and programme delivery within structured, compliance-driven environments.

Her work focuses on strengthening programme systems, ensuring accountability in implementation processes, and supporting evidence-based decision-making to improve outcomes across social impact programmes.

Outside of work, she enjoys taking her dogs to park runs, spending time with her family, and reading.
