It is insufficient to simply state that one has experience, we require details.
Outline your experience working with or within the African human rights system. Describe the organs and mechanisms you have engaged, the normative or standard-setting processes you contributed to, and the specific legal or advocacy outputs you produced. State when and where this experience was gained and what your own contribution was.
Outline your experience of working on contested rights and of countering anti-rights actors within the African context. Refer to any experience relevant to processes such as the AU Convention on Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (CEVAWG), the draft African Charter on Family Values and Sovereignty, or comparable regressive normative developments. Describe your understanding of anti-rights strategies, discourse and tools, and give examples of how you have responded to attempts to co-opt, capture or subdue progressive mandates.
Outline your experience of producing written work to a near-final standard with minimal supervision, and of repackaging technical legal or normative content for different audiences. Describe the types of documents you have authored, who the intended audiences were, and the level of review your drafts required before they were finalised. Please be prepared to submit a writing sample of which you are the principal author.
Outline your experience of leading communications and relationships with partners, coalitions, networks or movements. Describe the collaborations you have managed or coordinated, your role in convening and sustaining them, and how you maintained engagement between formal meetings or events. Include any experience of supporting civil society organisations or nascent movements to strengthen their capacity, and of navigating disagreement or conflict between partners.

Outline your experience of managing projects or workstreams from end to end while carrying several competing priorities at once. Describe the systems you use to plan, track and report on your work, how you decide what to prioritise when circumstances change quickly, and give an example of a time you had to respond to a sudden opportunity or crisis without compromising your existing commitments.
