Limbani Sibande v Bright Mwale & Attorney General of Malawi (Defence Forces); Civil Cause 126 of 2021

Ms Limbani Sibande, a transgender woman, was brutally attacked by members of the Malawi Armed Forces at military barracks upon learning of her gender identity. The Armed Forces failed to adequately investigate and provide redress for Ms. Sibande.
